Interlibrary Loans (also referred to as ILL)
If a book is not owned by the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library, we can try to get it for you from outside of the Sault.  Although our library provides this service for free, the lending library will sometimes charge you a small fee.  You will be notified of the charge before the item is ordered.

If the book has been published this year, please consider suggesting a title for purchase.

Internet Services
Internet / Open Office / multimedia computers are available free-of-charge to the public.  To book a time on one of our public internet workstations please contact your local branch of the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library.  

Note: There is a small printing fee.

Free wireless internet access is available at the Main branch.

Microfilm Readers / Printers
Microfilm and microfiche readers / printers are available at the Main branch for use with microfilm copies of the Sault Star newspapers, census records, and other information.  There is a small printing fee

Used Books
Do you have books, DVDs, Music CDs, Books-on-CD, or other items to donate to the library?  The Friends of the Library welcome your donations.
